DUZcart Dust Containment Cart:  Engineered and designed by people who use them everyday

Several years ago the parent company of DUZcart, a telecommunications contractor, was mandated to begin using containment carts in infection control areas.  They found the commercially available products to be inefficient, cumbersome, laborious to move, slow to deploy and they broke down frequently.  At best, they provided only a few months of daily, repetitive service.  Consequently, productivity dropped and labor costs increased.  Simply, the available products were not made for extensive repetitive use.

Solution:  Engineer their own dust containment unit

In February of 2003, the first prototypes were built strictly for our own use. In December of 2003 the final design was put into use on a daily basis with huge success.  After several minor design changes, the current DUZcart model was created.  These carts quickly gained significant attention from other trades and hospital personnel.  After years of declining requests to sell these units, a decision was made to make them available commercially.  We were simply tired of telling people no.
